By Jorie Lewis Sometimes, dreams end a little too soon. The McCluer North Stars finished in second place in Class 4A last year, losing out to Rockwood Summit. With last years state champion out of the picture after a loss in the district finals, the Stars had high hopes of making it back to Columbia. The Parkway Central Colts had other ideas. The Colts, who held an 11-16 record going into today's game, brought the Stars back down to Earth with a 4-1 victory. The win propels Parkway Central into the state quarterfinals on Saturday, while McCluer North ends their season with a 16-12 record.
