Few people expected the Patriots to be this deep in the postseason, but they are still playing. Next up will be a quarterfinal clash with Suburban South counterpart Eureka that will serve as the rubber game of the season between the clubs. The teams split the two games that were played during the regular season; Eureka won, 5-3, on April 12, and Parkway South prevailed, 18-5, on May 3. "They know us, and we know them," said McConnell. "We've played against each other twice and split in those two games, so this should be the rubber match;…it should be a pretty tough game, I'm sure."
