But after upsetting fourth-ranked Lutheran South, the unranked Red Knights find themselves in Saturday's Class 3A State championship game. "Unbelievable," said Incarnate Word assistant coach Dianna Pinkley. "We knew from the very beginning we were the underdogs, and we would have to come through. Lutheran South has been rated [number] one from the beginning, and we were always at the bottom." The Red Knights got all they would need in the fifth inning when Sarah Lamkin drilled a two-run homer down the right field line.
